General Instructions for Final Paper Preparation of
 Accepted Papers for SCOPES 2010

 

ACM will publish all accepted papers for SCOPES 2010 in the ACM Digital Library. The following information should help you produce electronic files conforming to ACM standards:

 

1. Use the ACM Word or LaTeX style templates to prepare your final paper – look at:

http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates

 

Apply ACM Computing Classification categories and terms. The above mentioned templates provide space for this indexing. The Computing Classification Scheme can be found at:

http://www.acm.org/about/class/1998

 

2. The following Standard Copyright Statement SHOULD appear at the bottom first page left column of your paper:

 

"Permission to make digital or hard copies of all or part of this work for personal or classroom use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear this notice and the full citation on the first page. To copy otherwise, to republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission and/or a fee.

3. The final paper submission deadline is April, 23, 2010. Your final paper should not exceed 10 pages in the ACM template specified in point 1 above. Your final paper must be submitted in PDF format using the SCOPES 2010 paper submission website. The PDF file should:

·        Have all fonts embedded within the PDF file;

·        Have Type 1 fonts (scalable), NOT Type 3 (bit-mapped);

·        Be named using the following convention: <FirstAuthorLastName>.pdf
            Example:   smith.pdf

 

4. ACM will contact you directly by e-mail with instructions on how to fill in and submit the  ACM copyright forms concerning your accepted paper.
